The Strata is required to conduct an inspection of all fire related equipment on a yearly basis.
This inspection is normally done around the April/May time frame.
Access to each unit is required in order to test the smoke detector and the ceiling mounted fire speaker. The total time spent in each unit is under 2 minutes.
Access may be provided by being home, providing permission to use your KeyVault key or by leaving a key with the Concierge.
Those units that do not provide access on the day of the inspection may face a fine and/or an invoice to cover the cost of a subsequent visit.
